New Foods for 800 Calorie HCG 2.0 Diet: Lunch and Dinner
As 2020 starts the HCG dieter will have hundreds of new foods to choose from for both breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have reviewed many new products introducing them into my office HCG patients in Miami during 2019. I kept the total calories below 800 and all have 2 or 3 sugars or less. Many of the new foods for 800 calorie HCG diet are pre-packaged, ready to eat. Almost none require recipes or extensive preparation. There are many new ideas that fit into the HCG Diet Protocol with low fat and net carbs lower than 7 grams. For breakfast, my favorite new product is Just Crack and Egg. Here is a 60-second omelet in a ready to cook container- just eliminate the potatoes. The newest addition are the vegetable substitutes for rice, pasta, and potatoes made from Cauliflower and Zucchini. They can be added either as fresh cauliflower and zucchini or from the newly frozen preparations. Japanese Foods in the 800 Calorie HCG Diet: Low Carb/Low Fat is Easy!
One of the overlooked sources of great food for the 800 calorie hCG diet is the addition of Japanese foods. Not all Japanese foods have to be made with rice or have high sugar sauces. The low carb Atkins diet reviews provide more details regarding the best low carb, high protein Japanese foods. Rolls made of fish, avocado and wrapped in cucumbers and Spring Rolls that are not fried make great additions to the HCG diet. These can be lunches or dinners. Just remember to avoid the rice and high sugar sauces. Here are three examples, no carb sashimi, fresh spring rolls (not fired) and Kanni Sushi with cucumbers, avocado and fish:
- Breakfast: 6 selections, high in protein
- Lunch: soups, wraps, protein, salads

There are many great choices for lunch among the new foods for the 800 calorie HCG diet. The cornerstone of this meal is protein, such as fish, chicken, meat, eggs as well as fruit and vegetables. Even fast food restaurants offer salads that with a little care and eliminating the dressing can make great lunches. Several low carbs, low-calorie wraps make “sandwich” like foods.
Here are the choices for lunch, followed by fast food choices and then recipes for lunch all for phase 2 of the HCG diet. Note in the menu below you can have your choice of a protein including tuna, fish, chicken, beef or fish, a wraps with vegetables and protein (no mayo), fruit, large salads.
Fast Food Lunches on 800 Calorie HCG 2.0 Diet
Fast Food Restaurants also provide some fast, low calorie and easy lunches. This includes most salads, but grilled chicken can also be eaten as long as there are no french fries or bread. Even a hamburger could work but remember no bun. Here are some of the salads at McDonald’s, and Wendy’s – remember no dressing or croutons.
Jimmy Johns Low Carb Unwhich on the HCG Diet
New foods for the 800 calorie HCG diet now is available from Jimmy Johns- a national fast food restaurant selling subs. Recently they introduced the UNWHICH which is a low carb wrap substituting lettuce wraps for the bread. Calories for the 8-inch wrap can be from 87(turkey) to 215 (Italian). With a little care, you can eliminate both the Mayo and bread and save hundreds of calories and carbs. Known for their fast delivery (less than 15 minutes in most locations) give them a try, especially for lunch in the office.
